Second Grade students from Zablocki Elementary School showcase "Zablography" art work at VP Gallery! 

 

Zablocki Elementary School has not had art or music in their MPS curriculum for the past six years.  In 2006, Zaitz Photography, a Milwaukee-based photography studio, volunteered to meet the needs of 83 second grade students by creating a year long original photography curriculum with Diane Feldkamp, a speech pathologist at Zablocki. Through generous donations from the sponsors listed below, a digital camera was purchased and put into the hands of each child.  Each child will have one photograph showcased at the VP Gallery, 320 East Buffalo Street - Third Ward.

 

The exhibit opening is taking place on Saturday, May 5th (10am – 5pm), and Sunday, May 6th (12pm – 5pm) and will be up through Wednesday, May 16th.

 

All profits from each photograph sold, will go directly to Zablocki Elementary School to continue to fund future art opportunities for their students.  Each "artist's" original framed print is priced at $35.
